I’m really looking forward to writing in 2012.  I finally have the time and opportunity to integrate writing into my professional and personal life.  It’s been a long time goal of mine to pursue my interest in writing and I’m ready to ‘step up’!

I’m currently working several ‘angles’ that will provide me the opportunity (and discipline) to keep writing regularly.  You know me, plan…plan….plan.  Here is the structure I’m building around my writing:

1) NeoStream is setting up a blog component on our website (www.neostreamtech.com).  I have committed to be the  primary contributor.

2) I’m booking 1 hour / day (Mon – Thursday) to write for NeoStream’s blog site (and I’ve set a goal of publishing / posting at least twice / week).

3) I’m activating this blog site (www.seanfromcanada.wordpress.com) for writings and other musings that have nothing to do with ‘business life’.

4) I’m booking one night every two weeks to write at home (or at least work on material and ideas … just enjoy the process of learning and writing).

5) I’m assisting with writing and communication efforts with the Boards I’m involved with (The Alex and the Columbia Ridge Community Association).

6) I’m committing to tying it all all together with Facebook and Twitter so that I challenge myself to ‘show others’ my writing (not for vanity or your laughing pleasure….but to get used to cycle of starting, writing, refining and finishing (something I want my writing to be about…never over-contemplated…never over-produced).

I’ve always heard the saying, ‘writers always write’.  It’s always made sense to me.  So here I go.
