How Would You Like to Read It?

Question Mark

I have a question, can I have your opinion? I could use some input, your perspective…your preference.

While I was on vacation in July, I wrote for a little while each day. By the time the vacation was over, I saw that the majority of the pieces I wrote were about a common theme – around Food specifically. I’ve decided to put this content together into a collection of writings that I will release on seanfromcanada.com in October. So now the choice comes in…

I see three main ways I can present the writing. I’m interested in what way you’d prefer to read it. There’s no right or wrong answer to this. I’m just curious if there’s a ‘majority preference’ in terms of how to read writing on the web. I can deliver this material in any of the three formats, so let me know if you have a preference and I’ll pick something in a couple of weeks. Thanks!

Format #1: 2 Parts. Presenting the material this way would mean two longer articles. It’d likely take you 10 minutes per article to read it. Each article would cover a wide number of topics, and obviously the time lapse between starting ‘the series’ and ending it would be very short (2 – 4 days).

Format #2: 13 – 15 Blog Posts In Succession: This would be more along the ‘series’ model of releasing a piece of writing each day or two, keeping the flow of the idea for a 2 or 3 week period. Each piece would cover a single topic (related to the bigger theme), and it would take a couple minutes to read each article.

Format #3: 13 – 15 Blog Posts over an Extended Time Frame: The concept here is that the posts remain separate to each topic, but they are released over the course of a couple / three months, interspersed with other topics, themes within the blog posts.

I realize you don’t know the content, and for that matter might not even be interested in it…but pretend you are interested…what would be your preferred method to read it? Let me know – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or on the seanfromcanada site. And check out “I Hate Food” in October.

Thanks!

I like the idea of format #2. I too enjoy your posts and to be honest any format you choose will be good, but I do like the idea you propose under format #2.
