They’re closing in on me. I’m being followed, for sure. The neighbors are obviously in on it. This is dangerous talk in dangerous times my friends. We have to stick together – no one breaks. It’s just us few, the righteous, against the Man. The shadows have ears.

Of course we know from House of Cards that governments and big-business control everything, and always win. The common man has come to know that North American governments struggle with any sort of change, let alone big change. And this is big change, this whole food pill thing.

The food industry is not going to want a pill that can replace their entire supply chain of products, services and remedies. No one in the food biz could support this sort of change…certainly not at any pace that would affect profits, jobs or even focus.

I’m an entrepreneur, why don’t I just start a multi-billion dollar drug company and produce the food pill? It’d be a simple matter of registering a web address with Go Daddy and coming up with a catchy name and logo, right? Aside from what may be a few other ‘business challenges’ with this simple plan, I bet I’d come across a little resistance somewhere along the way.

Sure a food pill would solve world hunger, would dramatically reduce the environmental impact of transportation and lessen the divide between rich and poor, but think of the destruction it would reap on the existing food industry. What about farmers? What would the food transportation and distribution industry say? Grocery stores…restaurants. Cleaning services, commercial leasing, hiring agencies, and flatware producers…Tums…the list goes on. So many people, businesses and entire tax infrastructures would be destroyed.

No, the man isn’t going to let that happen. I can feel them closing in. The ‘shut down’ order has been given…my time is limited. Tell my family and friends…I tried.
