I was reflecting on the year,
The moments, the decisions….all the right and wrong,
So much happened this year,
And I was certainly challenged along the way.

I wanted to thank you for being beside me,
In this year, 2014,
It was a journey to say the least,
Certainly one it’d do better, given a second chance.

But my observations and reflections include you,
You were at my side, as the stories unfolded,
You supported me, throughout my struggles… through good and bad,
It’s this that I remember now.

So I thank you for being with me,
During this year of triumph and defeat,
My memories and pictures know you were there,
And I hope you’ll be with me in this year to come…
